New Orchestra Programs

I missed it hahaha. They implement a new orchestra program my junior year and I've been wanting to play violin for years TT_TT http://yourmansfieldisd.blogspot.com/2009/11/proposed-misd-orchestra-program.html#comment-form this link shows my current school district starting the program i wish I could have had the chance to use.

It makes me wonder why though. Alot of money is wasted on things like a new stadium that we didn't need and they postponed a new highschool that I could have walked to but I have to travel nine miles to a ghetto school because they wanted to make a huge sign for the stadium o-o/ Hello? Why would you rather do that? ...I'll stop on that subject though.

私のすごい友人

Have you ever met anyone so cool that you think to yourself "Well hell, why can't I be that awesome?" I've known that type of person since i was 4. Her name is Ashley and we've been best friends for YEARS. I can't explain the amount of awesome that radiates around her.

Alot of the time we're either making fun of people we don't know or we are ripping on each other constantly. She's been so good to me; when i do something stupid, she's there to yell at me. When I need someone to tak to, she's always there for me, even when I'm being ridiculous. I hope that everyone can have an ashley because the support is just what any emo kid needs to get out of that corner and play in the flowers XD

Thanks Ashley! You've been the best friend a person could EVER have! And i really appreciate you!

☆かわいいbaby☆

Today I'm listening to Kawaii Baby by Hazel Nuts Chocolate. It's very calm and nostalgic n_n
For me, music reflects and influences my moods. Throughout the day I'll listen to bands like Halcali and Meg Rock because they have happy upbeat songs that I can sing or dance to haha. Winamp says that on my happy play list I have 281 songs to make me feel good all day. I guess that's a good sign right?

I always wonder what it must be like to be a rock star... I don't believe it can always just be about the music. Unfortunately as humans some of us tend to like money alot better than what we believe in. I think that if money was taken out of the equation, alot of music would be happier, more hopeful sounding... I'm not an expert by any means, but alot of the music we listen to loses it's flair after the first album or so.

If you were famous for your brooding melodies and heavy bass, and you wanted to make your sound more upbeat, how much money would it take your producer to give you to keep this melancholy sound that your band just doesn't want anymore? Would it have the heart and soul that it once did? Would you slip a little happiness into the lyrics just to hope that your fans will recognize that there’s a new you, but you can't show it? I think that's what's happening. Or perhaps from another view, the fans keep the band from progressing to a deeper or happier sound. Like An Cafe for example... I'm NOT bashing anybody here, but I did notice, when Bou left and Yuuki and Takeru came in, that there was an outcry from some fans because An Cafe dropped some of the childish happiness that was once in their music. I think everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I feel curiosity to know how the band felt, with some of their fans wishing for Bou to come back instead of the newer members. I have to admit, I didn't want Bou to leave, but I also knew that An Cafe had to move on, change in their own ways. Perhaps some fans felt betrayed, like when you have been dating someone for a long time, and then they change over a summer vacation. It hurts, but you have to move on right? I'm just babbling now n_n" sorry...

Well I didn't think I had that much behind this small part of my love for music XD That’s alot... I hope you maybe gained another view from an insignificant music fan, please don’t take this as ANY sort of bashing or anything like that. Any fan of music is a friend of mine!
